One Hundred Strong – And Growing
It’s been just over a week since we launched our new neighborhood website. As of this morning, just under 100 residents — about 25 percent of our community — have registered on the site.
Becoming a registered user gives you access to our neighborhood directory and other content that is available only to residents. You can also comment on news stories and vote in polls. If you haven’t registered, I encourage you to do so. It’s easy.
Just click “Register” under Resident Login on the right-hand side of the page. You’ll be asked to create a username and re-type a code that is intended to keep spammers off our site. You’ll be automatically e-mailed a temporary password. Once you have it, you can log in to the site and update your user profile with a new password.
Once you’ve registered, you need to be verified as a resident before you can access content that is for our neighbors only. It usually takes less than 24 hours to complete this process. Since each new registered user has to be manually checked against our resident list, it helps if you include your first and last name in your user profile.
That’s all there is to it! If you experience any problems registering of logging in, e-mail me at webmaster@pelhamfalls.com. We’ve been able to resolve most issues quickly.
In my next post, I’ll talk about some of the features on our site and how to use them. Stay tuned!
