Mark Your Calendars: River Path Work Day, October 2

A River Path work day has been scheduled for Saturday October 2nd. Starting at 9 AM. There are several issues that need to be addressed.
- General cleanup of the path to include removal of sand and debris. Tools needed are shovel, broom or leaf blower.
- Pruning of low hanging branches. Tools needed pole saw and loping shears.
- General clearing of area adjacent to path of fallen branches and debris.
- Depending on weather conditions, limited burning of brush piles all ready established along path.
Additional projects would include removal of grape vines and clearing of storm drains that cross under the River Path.
This work day will be YOUR opportunity to make our River Path a safer and more user friendly feature of Pelham Falls. PLEASE contact Ray Lewis or Pat Lewis at 234-1037 and let us know what YOU would like to work on so that we are able to coordinate the effort.
