2013 Pool Rules

  1. Pelham Falls pool tags are mandatory at both facilities.
    No Badge … No Swimming! NO EXCEPTIONS
  2. NO GLASS – Absolutely no glass in pool or on pool deck.
  3. Clean Up – ALL trash must be thrown away in garbage cans to keep ants away.
  4. Minimum Age – Children 10 & under must be accompanied by an adult.
  5. Conduct Enforcement – Any person displaying inappropriate behavior will be asked to leave.
  6. Swim Attire – Appropriate swim attire required.  NO STREET CLOTHES
  7. Swim Diapers – Swim diapers are required for all babies & toddlers who are not totally potty trained.  In the event of an “accident,” please contact lifeguard immediately for assistance in DHEC required clean up.
  8. Toys  – No hard balls such as tennis balls, leather footballs, etc are permitted.  No helium balloons within the fenced area.
  9. Flotation Equipment – Use of rafts & floats may be restricted during peak periods by lifeguards on duty.
  10. Adult Swim Time – Only adults & infants / toddlers in their parents’ arms are permitted in the pool during adult swim, which occurs during lifeguards’ breaks. Please, no children sitting on steps during adult swim.
  11. Children in restrooms – Young children must be accompanied to restrooms by an adult.
  12. PARTIES – It is mandatory that ALL parties with 15 or more guests be reserved.
    Contact Upstate Pool Management lifeguard to schedule party & place on pool calendar.
    No helium balloons permitted inside pool fenced area – No Exceptions!
    Resident responsible to ensure 1 adult for every 6 children at party!

Swim Team Registration – Sunday, April 21

It’s never too late to be a Pelham Falls Piranha or Guppy! We would like to stress that your child doesn’t have to be an experienced swimmer to
join our team. As a matter of fact, we love all the new swimmers that join us every year. It is amazing to see them improve their swimming skills in such a short period of time.

Piranha’s only requirement is that your child is capable of swimming across the pool without help. Our Guppy Team is for our younger swimmers. Our magnificent coaches will take care of stroke and turn development and proficiency. We would like to welcome all returning swimmers and look forward to meeting new swimmers.

Come visit with us at the Clubhouse April 21st between 3:00-4:30 pm and join our team! To make registration faster and easier, download the registration forms, fill them out beforehand, and bring them, along with your checkbook, up the the Clubhouse. We look forward to seeing you there.

Public Hearing – Batesville Road Improvements

March 4, 2013

There will be a public hearing on Thursday, March 7 from 5-7 p.m. at Oakview Elementary School  to discuss planned improvements to Batesville Road. All Pelham Falls residents are encouraged to attend this meeting as the project could have a significant impact on our community. Oakview is located at 515 Godfrey Rd.
